On September 12, 2024, the feast of the Most Holy Name of Mary, the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate American Delegation celebrated the investiture of two new novices this year in the friary of Mount St. Francis (NY):
Bro. Joshua Quade, who take the new religious name as Fra. Carlo Acutis of Our Lady of Sorrows
Bro. Joseph Uzelac, who take the new religious name as Fra. Eugene Joseph Mary of the Cross.
Fr. Ignatius M. Manfredonia ( FFI USA Delegate) presided over the investiture ceremony.
The new novices will be guided in their Franciscan formation journey by their novice master, Fr. Giacinto Mary.
Let us pray for the grace to co-respond more closely to God’s call in the Franciscan Life.
